Earlier this year, we were hired for a major reconfiguration project in West Hartford, Connecticut, involving both exterior and interior renovations.

On the exterior, our team installed a new drainage system to address a persistently wet backyard, then built a stunning composite covered porch. The porch features a standing seam metal roof, beautiful ceiling-mounted fans, and an exterior heater for year-round comfort.

Inside the home, we transformed the existing kitchen, dining room, and living room layout into one large, open-concept great room. The new design allowed the kitchen to expand into the former dining area, making room for a large island and peninsula. We refinished all the hardwood floors on the main level, added a walk-in pantry, rebuilt the stairs and railing, installed a new front door with two sidelights, and fully renovated the first-floor half bathroom. We also updated electrical and lighting throughout and completed the project with a fresh coat of paint.

The project took approximately five months from start to finish. Our clients made incredible selections, and we’re truly grateful for the opportunity to bring their vision to life.
